Chicago Business Barometer Rose to Its Highest Level Since January 2015
The MNI Chicago Business Barometer rose 7.0 points in November, its highest level since January 2015. The increase added momentum to the fourth, four of the five Barometer components increased with only Employment falling.
Midwest Economy Index Deceased Slightly
The Midwest Economy Index (MEI) decreased slightly in November from a neutral reading in October. Novembers value for the relative MEI indicates that Midwest economic growth was somewhat higher than would typically be suggested by the growth rate of the national economy.

“The Audacity of Arrogance” …Barack Obama.
This weekend the president said if he were able to run for a third term he would have been able to gather a coalition of voters to beat Donald J. Trump. I mean, seriously Barry? You and your family really have been living in a bubble for the past 8 years. I outlined a number of your failures last week after your wife was kind enough to make her ignorant statement about hope…or what she sees as the lack of it, in America.
Yes, we are all now lost at sea without the omnipotent Barack Hussein Obama here to lead us to: defeat ISIS (not), to create good middle class jobs (not), to over tax and over regulate our businesses and our workers (accomplished), to give succor to illegal immigrants but not care for our veterans who have bravely served our country (accomplished), to draw the red line in the sand…and do nothing about it (accomplished). I could go on and on and on. His failures as president are myriad and plainly evident to anyone willing to look…except him. What a joke.
US-Israel Relations
In a break from 50 years of US policy the United States abstained from a vote in which the United Nations Security Council ultimately approved a resolution criticizing Israel’s expansion of settlements in the West Bank. This is a mess and the Israelis are saying they have concrete proof that the Obama administration was intimately involved in the deal which does not surprise me in the least. We all know Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim sympathizer and holds an abundant amount of disdain for Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel.
Secretary of State John Kerry spoke for about 90 minutes yesterday mostly vilifying the Jews for wishing to live peacefully within their own borders. They have given land back in the past, several times to my knowledge and what have they gotten in return for this effort to gain peace? Thousands of rockets fired on their people by the Palestinians, Hamas and whatever other rats live in the desert there.
The Palestinians teach their children from their earliest years to hate Israel and the Jewish people. To this day, those Palestinians that murder a Jew are paid a monthly stipend for their action. They name thoroughfares after these “martyrs” that commit such heinous crimes and you Mr. Kerry, have the nerve to say the Israelis’ are sabotaging the peace process? You sir, are a complete moron.
This administration has had 8 years to do something positive and it has achieved nothing and now, 3 weeks before a new administration comes to power you throw a monkey wrench into the mix by allowing this UN resolution to get passed. The reality is that peace is not possible there when the Palestinians hold such abhorrent beliefs. They do not want peace unless it involves the destruction of Israel. Sorry, ain’t gonna happen.
