Headline General Business Conditions Index Climbed Nine Points

The headline general business conditions index climbed nine points; a multi-year high. That’s according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Empire State Manufacturing Survey for April, which reports business activity grew strongly in New York State, according to firms responding to the survey. . New orders and shipments grew, unfilled orders increased, delivery times were longer and inventories were notably higher.

Manufacturing Conditions Continue to Improve

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia released it Manufacturing Business Outlook Survey results for April and shows manufacturing conditions in the region continue to improve, according to firms responding to the survey. The indicators for general activity, shipments and employment all rose.

US Drill Rigs Running Up 2 from Previous Week

There were 432 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 2 rigs from the previous week, down 170 rigs from one year ago. Canadian drilling dropped by 11 rigs to 58, up 23 rigs from one year ago.

US Raw Steel Production Down o.3% from Previous Week

In the week ending April 10, US raw steel production was 1,761,000 net tons at an ACUR of 77.6 percent., down 0.3 percent from the previous week.

Minneapolis Riots

More riots and looting outside Minneapolis this week after a black male was accidentally shot and killed by a police officer. The car was stopped for tinted windows, they found he had an outstanding warrant. Got him out of the car, were moving to arrest when the man got back in to his car to elude arrest. In the bodycam video I saw, I plainly heard the officer yell “tazer” at least 5 times. She pulled the wrong weapon.

It did not stop the rioters, vandals and looters from taking to the streets. Why is this happening? The media and the leftist politicians thrive on dividing our country, they rush to judgment, print and speak lies all to foment the appearance of rampant racism in our country. IT DOES NOT EXIST as portrayed. Are there racists in America? Yes (there are racists in every country), but they are a small minority. Think about it. How many rabid racists do you know? Again, for the most part, they do not exist in America. Political horse shit from the Democratic left.

No Criminal Charges for Officer Who Shot Ashli Babbitt

So, the Capitol police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt on January 6 will not face any charges, even though Babbitt was unarmed, though she was white and a Trump supporter, we do NOT know who the officer was. Meanwhile, the police officer who accidentally shot a young black male outside Minneapolis this week has been charged with 2nd degree manslaughter and could spend 6 or 7 years in jail. She is white. All this while the Derek Chauvin trial, accused of murdering George Floyd, is going on. BLM and Antifa have already said Minneapolis will burn if there is no conviction. Derek Chauvin will take the fall for this, regardless of what his defense shows in court. More racist bullshit encouraged by the racist left to further divide our country.

Court Packing

The threat of court packing is vandalism on a scale beyond the destruction of statues. It undermines judicial duty and independence. It destroys the legitimacy of the Supreme Court and its decisions. Such threats have already demolished much of the Constitution. Will they now mash what is left?

Whatever happens, the justices have received their warning:

bend your judgement politically or we will politicize your court.” The damage would be irreparable. The intimidation game is being played once again, with profound costs for the Constitution and our freedom.”
