June CPI Up Slightly
The June CPI up slightly, came in at 3.00%, up 0.2 percent over the month of June, a steep decline from the May reading of, I believe, 5.6%.
US machine shops and other manufacturers increased their purchases of machine tools by 10.0% from April to May, with new orders totaling $362.77 million in the most recent month. That figure falls -16.4% below the total posted for May 2022, however, and brings the current year-to-date total for new orders to $2.068 billion, or -14.6% lower than last year’s January-May result.” American Machinist
US Raw Steel Production Down from Previous Week
In the week ending July 8, US raw steel production was 1,711,000 net tons at an ACUR of 75.2 percent. This is down 1.7 percent from the previous week ending July 1.
US Drilll Rigs Running Up from Previous Week
There were 680 drill rigs running in the US last week, up six rigs from the previous week, down seventy-two rigs from one year ago.
Canadian drillers ran 175 rigs last week, up eight rigs from the previous week. No change from one year ago.

Last week a small bag of cocaine was found in the White House. The story of the location in which it was found has changed three or four times already. As you know, the White House is the most secure building in the USA, maybe the world. On Thursday, the Secret Service closed the investigation into who brought it into the building, saying they could find no video footage of whoever left it there.
Additionally, the Secret Service stated it could not comply with a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for records relating to the White House cocaine, citing potential interference in an ongoing investigation (this is a common refrain when the truth is being sought). So, NO suspects. There are cameras everywhere. Like Hillary’s emails, or Hunter’s laptop or a myriad of other unsolved crimes perpetrated by the so-called Democrats, the evidence always seems to disappear.
Three years ago, prior to the election, I warned that the wolves were at the door. It appears the wolves are now in the house. If the Marxists somehow prevail in the 2024 general election, despite their extremely poor approval ratings and terrible job they have done, we will know the fix is in. Your liberty and freedom are at stake because they mean to take them from you, to control every aspect of our lives. This is what the Founders experienced in the 1700’s only their tyrants were across an ocean, today they are everywhere in our society. What will be the outcome? Will free people and liberty disappear once again? Or will Americans fight to preserve what has been fought for these past centuries? It’s up to you and me.
