Leading Indicators Show Growth into 2016
The Conference Board Leading Economic Index (LEI) for the US increased 0.4 percent in November following a 0.6 percent increase in October and no change in September. The leading indicators are positive going into the new year.
The US LEI registered another increase in November, with building permits, the interest rate spread and stock prices driving the improvement. Although the six-month growth rate of the LEI has moderated, the economic outlook for the final quarter of the year and into the new year, remains positive.”

Federal Reserve Bank of New York Empire State Manufacturing Survey for December
It reports manufacturing in the region remained in contraction for the fifth consecutive month, though the rate of decline moderated.
Oil Export Ban Agreement
Congressional leaders have agreed to lift the nation’s 40 year ban on oil exports, a historic action that reflects political and economic shifts driven by a boom in US oil drilling.
The measure allowing oil exports is at the center of a deal that Republican leaders announced late Tuesday on spending and tax legislation. However, democrats have not confirmed the agreement. Both the House and the Senate still must pass it and Obama must sign it into law. WSJ
Industrial Production Fell in November
Industrial production fell 0.6 percent in November, a larger than expected decline, which also follows a downward revision to last month’s data. Weather and autos played a role but this is the third straight drop.
Interest Rate Hike
The Federal Reserve said it would raise its benchmark interest rate by a quarter percentage point from near zero for the first time since December 2008 and emphasized it would likely lift rates gradually hereafter in a test of the economy’s capacity to stand on its own with less support from super easy monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Manufacturing Outlook Survey for the Third Federal Reserve District for December

A Ban on the Pledge of Allegiance, Thanksgiving and Christmas … Gone Wrong
Ok, the left wing wacko nonsense is getting to be way out of line… Monday, it was reported that PS 169, a Brooklyn elementary school, had banned children saying the Pledge of Allegiance in school, of celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas.
You know what? I don’t give a shit who it offends, if people do not like our customs, they should get the hell out of our country. Americans do NOT want people of that ilk here. They do not contribute, rather, they take.
They show no patriotism for the USA, rather, they denigrate her. They do not teach our children of our rich history (the good, and yes, the bad) rather they lie or distort it to fit their narrative. They do not celebrate our Christmas season, rather, they seek to destroy and eliminate it. This is not the behavior of good American citizens.
Take notice…we do NOT want you here and we will fight to preserve what our young men and women have fought for. I will not let you destroy the freedom earned by blood, and treasure which should rightly be passed on to our children and grandchildren and theirs after them. Screw you.
