Small Business Optimism Index Indicates Consistent Economic Growth

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Optimism Index indicates consistent economic growth, though it fell modestly in September. Hiring and investment have moderated.

US Drill Rigs Running Down From Previous Week

There were 855 drill rigs running in the US last week, down 5 from the previous week and down 197 from the like period last year. In Canada, 144 rigs were running, up 17 rigs from the prior week which was down 38 from the like period last year.

US Raw Steel Production at ACUR 78%

In the week ending October 5, 2019 US raw steel production was 1,804,000 tons at an ACUR of 78.00 percent. Thus far this year mills have produced prox 74,257,000 tons compared to the prox 72,063,000 tons produced in the like period last year.

Where are the Republicans?

Not much of a week for news other than the constant vomit of Impeach, Impeach…and that is all just a farce. There has been no proven crime despite the repeated accusations, there has been no vote in the House of Representatives to pursue impeachment. Why? Because that witch, Nancy Pelosi, knows it will put several incumbents in a bad position. That this level of obvious corruption has infected the institutions of our government is a blatant sin. I will repeat what I said last week: Where are the Republicans? Why do they not stand up and defend our Constitution? It is sickening.

MERIT BASED IMMIGRATION? THE SHIT WE HAVE NOW?
RESPONSIBLE HELP FOR THE POOR? THROW MONEY AT THE PROBLEM?
TEACH AMERICAN HISTORY TO OUR CHILDREN? ERASE AMERICAN HISTORY?
RESPECT OUR FLAG? DON’T GIVE A SHIT?
SAY THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IN SCHOOL? WHAT IS THAT?

I will track these campaign promises and will check them off as each is accomplished adding those I have missed as they become apparent. This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term, but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
