Texas Factory Activity Expanded for the Third Straight Month
Texas factory activity expanded in the month for the third straight month, following the record contraction in the spring, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey results for August. Perceptions of broader business conditions improved; the general business activity index turned positive after 5 months in negative territory. The company outlook index registered a third consecutive positive reading, shooting up 11 points, its highest reading in nearly 2 years.
The Chicago Business Barometer for August 2020
The Barometer slipped to 51.2 in August, but it was the second straight reading above the 50-mark as firms stated that business activity has picked up further.
The Institute or Supply Management (ISM) August Report
Economic activity in the manufacturing sector grew in August and the overall economy grew for a fourth consecutive month.
The report was issued by Timothy R. Fiore, CPSM, CPM, Chair of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Manufacturing Business Survey Committee:
The August PMI registered 56 percent, up 1.8 percentage points from the July reading.
US Drill Rigs Running Remained Static Last Week
The number of drill rigs running in the US last week remained static at 254, down 650 rigs from 1-year prior.
US raw steel production the week ending 8/29/20 was 1,383,000 net tons at an ACUR of 61.7 percent.
The Riots Continue …
After three months of rioting, looting, arson, murder etc. in only Democrat-controlled states and cities who refused the aid offered by the president, the Democrats have decided, and are pushing the narrative, that the violence is all Trump’s fault. “They must think you’re stupid,” as Obama once famously said. In the meantime, Portland still burns. The mayor is a complete fool, he also blames Trump for the violence he failed to address in his city, agreeing with the rioters early on in the start of the mayhem.
The Formal Surrender of Japan 75th Anniversary
On September 2, 1945 the Japanese signed formal surrender documents aboard the USS Missouri, the 75th anniversary was Tuesday of this week. Will liberals try to erase this history too? Most likely, but what is also likely is that true American Patriots will never for forget this or any history of America.

Nancy Pelosi was videoed this week walking into a San Francisco hair salon, sans mask. The salon has been closed since the shutdown in March due to government lockdown mandates. This shows us a couple of things:
1) The lockdowns have been useless and yet have destroyed hundreds, if not thousands, of small independent businesses.
2) The elite Democrats like to make rules to control you and I but choose to not apply these mandates to themselves. That is not justice is it?
Lori Lightfoot, mayor Chicago, Chris Cuomo, son of Mario the pious, and Nancy Pelosi to name a few, are liberals who have all been caught treating themselves like they are better than you and I. horse shit.
After being busted, this woman had the gall to demand an apology from the salon owner for “setting her up.” What unabashed bullshit this is. They have zero reservations about blatant lying to the people of this country.

Meanwhile, in Washington DC, Democrat mayor, Muriel Bowser has formed a committee to re-examine the names of schools, statues and parks in the wake of protests.
The committee says it hunted for historical figures with “key disqualifying histories, including participation in slavery, systemic racism, mistreatment of or actions that suppressed equality for; persons of color, women and LGBTQ communities and violation of the DC Human Right Act.” The bureaucrats worked with uncharacteristic dispatch, taking six weeks to render the judgment of history on 1,330 properties named for people. Among the names under scrutiny by this imbecilic move are Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Francis Scott Key, Alexander Graham Bell, James Monroe. Additionally, the committee wishes to petition the federal government to “remove, relocate or contextualize the Washington Monument-yes, the monument to the man who won America’s independence.
