Texas Factory Activity Increased in January
Texas factory activity increased in January, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey. While factory activity continued to increase in January, it was at a slower pace, per the executives responding to the survey. The production index, a key measure of state manufacturing conditions, hit an eight-month low of 16.6, but the reading still indicates above average output growth. Other measure of manufacturing activity also indicated continued growth.
US Raw Steel Production Down from Previous Week
In the week ending January 29, 2022, US raw steel production was 1,796,000 net tons at an ACUR of 81.6 percent, down 0.4 percent from the previous week.
US Drill Rigs Running Up from Previous Week
There were 610 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 6 rigs from the previous week, up 226 rigs from 1 year ago. Canadian drillers added 5 rigs to 217, up 43 rigs from one year ago.

BLM-the fascist organization which does not give a shit about Black Americans, has apparently dissolved its management team which took with it some $60 million. It started with leader, Cullors, whose first name I cannot recall. Last summer she was found to have purchased two homes worth about $3 million. Never gave an explanation and was never asked to give one. She just disappeared. No one knows who, if anyone, is running BLM. No one knows where their offices are, if there are employess etc. Just a big scam.

Gavin Newsom, California governor caught unmasked at the LA Rams game last weekend, also, Eric Garcetti, mayor of Los Angeles, also caught maskless at the same game. Newsom apologized, the other asshole said he “held his breath” which shows you what he thinks of your intelligence. These leftists are something else.
Johns Hopkins Study on Lockdown Effect on Mortality Rates
Johns Hopkins University came out with a study report this week which found that the covid lockdowns did not do much at all to reduce mortality from covid. They did, however, cost untold dollars in economic harm, wasted two years of education of our youth, forced thousands to permanently close their small businesses and a myriad of other negative outcomes. You see, these idiots in government do not know more than the rest of us, they just think they do. Rules for thee, not for me. A bunch of clowns.
ISIS Leader Dies
Sometime Thursday, Sleepy Joe had our military bomb a building in Syria, killing the current leader of ISIS who apparently detonated a bomb vest, killing him and his family-coward . I don’t hear anything from the media, but I do remember Trump icing al Baghdadi and Soleimani, both real bad dudes… yet Trump was vilified by the media. Double standards-a typical leftist move.
Biden was in New York on Thursday to meet with Mayor Eric Adams about the violence which has taken over New York and many other cities. Unfortunately, and as is typical, Biden blames the guns, not the violent criminals.
