Drilling Activity Last Week Reached Its Highest Level Since August 2015
The number of drill rigs running in the USA continued to rise last week, gaining by seven. The increase was led by Texas (up 6) and pushed drilling activity to the highest level since the same total was reached August 28, 2015. Meanwhile Canadian drilling fell again by three rigs compared to the previous week. AMM
US Raw Steel Production Retreated
US raw steel production retreated 0.7 percentage point last week as mills operated at an ACUR of 74.5 percent. In the corresponding week last year mills operated at an ACUR of 74.1 percent. Thus far this year mills have produced prox 31,200,000 tons compared to the prox 30,200,000 tons produced in the like period last year.
Flynn Investigations
I do not understand why, but they are investigating former Trump appointee, Mike Flynn on capitol hill. He has already been busted for improper activity and has lost his job and his reputation. Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates (former Obama appointee, fired by the Trump administration post election) being questioned by Diane Feinstein and others, all Democrats except for Lindsey Graham, Chuck Grassley and Ted Cruz, as far as I could tell.
Again, it is clear that Flynn broke the law and that the Trump vetting process was clearly lacking as regards Mr. Flynn (their reasoning is that the Obama administration had vetted the guy several months before, why do it again? this is why…).
It is also obvious that the Democrats are aiming to tie this to Trump but there is no good reason for that is there (other than a political witch hunt)? I mean, Trump chose him and it turns out he is a bad egg so they got rid of him immediately. His military contributions and patriotism for the country are however, beyond reproach. This should be about Michael Flynn only and the Trump name should not be a part of the conversation….In my view
Now, in further questioning, that dim-wit, Al Franken is drilling Clapper about the Russia connection with Trump (Zero proof of any collusion at this point, from anyone, anywhere). This is such bullshit! It certainly is a witch hunt. Franken now accusing other members of the Trump transition team of colluding with the Russians. Amazing.
Comey Fired
On Tuesday afternoon President Trump fired FBI Director James B. Comey. He should have done it on day 1 after the stupid decisions and judgments he made regarding crooked Hillary. Naturally the Democrats are screaming “cover-up,” insinuating Trump is trying to cover up the Trump-Russia collusion illusion the left is under. The moron, Chuck Schumer actually suggested the reason for the firing was because the investigation may be “getting too close.”
Only an idiot would think that and I personally do not believe Trump is that stupid. Again, there is no proof of any collusion occurring, either released or forthcoming, yet they continue to trumpet this bullshit. Once again, their goal is obstruction, plain and simple. If Trump succeeds, America and the American people succeed. This opens the door for the American voting Democrats to realize they are now and have been, duped by the Democrat elites…

I will track these campaign promises and will check them off as each is accomplished adding those I have missed as they become apparent. This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
