US Raw Steel Production UP 1.3% from Previous Week

In the week ending May 30, 2020 US raw steel production was 1,206,000 net tons at a capacity utilization rate of 53.8 percent. This figure is UP 1.3 percent from the previous week ending May 23, 2020.

So, we have now had a couple weeks of increasing steel production, Friday’s jobs report, to the surprise of the “experts” found a DECREASE in jobless claims and a substantial INCREASE in payrolls. This is very encouraging news for everyone.

D-Day Anniversary

Saturday June 6, 2020 commemorates the 76th anniversary of the D-Day invasion at the beaches of Normandy, France. The beginning of the end for the Third Reich. Say a prayer for those who gave their lives and limbs that we may live as free people.

Systemic Racism

I encourage you to read the following article which debunks the lies being promoted about “systemic racism in America and from the police toward black Americans.” This is all horseshit being promoted by progressive, liberal thinking. The racism actually lies with the accusers.

Liberals need a permanent underclass to whom they always promise much but never deliver. Look at the situation, what has changed for Black America since Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society proposals of the 1960’s? Nothing. What did our first black president, Barack Obama do for Blacks? Nothing.

The fact is, until Donald Trump, things likely had gotten worse despite the trillions of dollars poured into inner cities (and stolen by politicians). You can look for the facts yourself to discover how Trump’s policies had helped, Blacks, Latino’s, women etc. until the appearance of Covid-19. Now, with the death of George Floyd, the protesters to his death have been joined by looters, murderers, thieves and thugs. Many bought and paid for by the likes of George Soros.

The businesses of Blacks and others in these communities have been destroyed by this unneeded violence. Where is the public outrage for citizens beaten or murdered during these riots? What about the lives of the several police officers murdered while trying to protect the protesters? There isn’t any. Why? Because this has all been orchestrated by the left and all aimed at getting rid of Donald J. Trump. I pray to God that a majority of the American people see the lies, realize they are just that and are and have been, wrong for the country. The election is mere months away. Who do you want to have the power in our country? This is not a difficult decision to make.

Wednesday night on Tucker Carlson, Fox News, he showed video of a white woman walking down the street, confronted by a liberal who demanded she get down on her knees and ask forgiveness for her “privilege.” The liberal mayor of L.A., Garcetti, down on his knees in front of the protesters, seeking to gain approval for his lack of balls. Law enforcement officers down on their knees to avoid confrontation with the protesters. What is happening to this country? This is the right thing to do? My God people, grow a set, stand up for what is right and good. If the liberals get their way, you will be living in a country you do not know or recognize. Your comfortable life will be gone. Your freedom will be gone. The liberals are now rallying to defund the police departments, can you imagine no law enforcement? This is pure insanity.

Also on Wednesday, Drew Brees, quarterback of the New Orleans Saints said he would not support anyone disrespecting the flag of the United States of America. Due to the pushback he received, he apologized profusely on Thursday, saying his heart was broken and asked forgiveness that he had hurt anyone’s feelings. Really? Has all the political correctness bullshit so diluted the American values we once (some of us still do) held so close? Apologizing for respecting our flag???

The State of Virginia is going to remove a statue honoring General Robert E. Lee from Richmond…a continuation of the liberal plan to eliminate the history of our country. More horseshit. Talk about deplorable, and this asshole approves of murdering babies AFTER they have been born.

The Numbers Don’t Support BLM Claims About the Police

Are black lives in danger due to “systemic racism” in American policing? Are “black and brown bodies” under systematic assault by white racists?

The numbers from recent years suggest that the answer to both questions is “no.” There are few instances in which unarmed blacks are killed by white police officers. To the extent that, in these instances, the police officer acted wrongfully, the officer must be held fully accountable. However, the low number of instances compared to the frequency of encounters undercuts any claim of a systemic policing problem in this regard.

Similarly, the statistics on interracial violence undercut the claim that white racists pose a serious threat to black and brown bodies. Blacks engage in violence against whites far more frequently than whites engage in violence against blacks.

Today, I want to examine the 2019 numbers on police shootings. Daniel Horowitz reports them here, citing the Washington Post’s database.

According to the Post’s data, nine unarmed black people were shot dead by cops in 2019. Nineteen unarmed white people shared the same fate. These numbers confirm that black lives are not in danger due to systemic police racism. Nine incidents do not demonstrate a systemic problem.

If the nine killings were all unjustified, that would be nine too many. However, Horowitz cites a series of tweets that analyze the nine cases. If the facts presented in these tweets are accurate, it seems that most of the nine killings were justified.

To cite a few examples:

Marzues Scott attacked a store employee. He then attacked a female police officer, knocking her to the ground, who then shot and killed him.

Two officers in Oklahoma shot Isaiah Lewis. He was running naked and charged an officer, beating him unconscious, after which his partner shot and killed him.

Police shot Atatiana Jefferson through the window of her home. Not sure why it’s categorized as the killing of an unarmed person, since she apparently did have a gun and according to her 8 year old nephew pointed it at the officer.

The 2019 data I’ve discussed includes only shootings. We know that not everyone who dies at the hands of the police is shot. George Floyd, for example, wasn’t shot.

However, as Horowitz suggests, if the Floyd killing were part of a systemic problem of cops killing blacks without justification, we would almost surely see the problem reflected in shootings of unarmed African Americans. But we don’t.

As an American citizen, how do you want our country to move forward for you and your family:

RESPONSIBLE HELP FOR THE POOR? THROW MONEY AT THE PROBLEM?
TEACH AMERICAN HISTORY TO OUR CHILDREN? ERASE AMERICAN HISTORY?
RESPECT OUR FLAG? DON’T GIVE A SHIT?
SAY THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IN SCHOOL? WHAT IS THAT?

Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
