Year-Over-Year Real GDP Growth Forecast
Year-over-year real GDP growth forecast by the Conference Board is 6.6 percent for 2021 and a healthy 3.8 percent for 2022. The Conference Board Leading Economic Index (LEI) for the US increased by 0.7 percent in June.
June’s gain in the US LEI was broad-based and, despite negative contributions from housing permits and average workweek, suggests that strong economic growth will continue in the near-term.” Said Ataman Ozyildirim, Senior Director of Economic Research at the Conference Board.
US Drill Rigs Running Up 231 From 1 Year Ago
There were 484 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 5 rigs from the previous week, up 231 rigs from one year ago. In Canada, there were 150 drill rigs running, up 13 from the previous week, up 118 rigs from 1 year ago.
US Raw Steel Production Up 0.4% from Previous Week
In the week ending July 17, 2021, US raw steel production was 1,859,000 net tons at an ACUR of 84.1 percent, up 0.4 percent from the previous week.
The CFNAI Decreased in June
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) decreased to +0.09 in June from +0.26 in May. Three of the four broad categories of indicators used to construct the index made positive contributions in June. The index’s three-month moving average (CFNAI-MA3, declined to +0.06 in June from +0.80 in May.
What do the numbers mean? A zero value for the monthly index has been associated with the national economy expanding at its historical trend (average) rate of growth; negative values with below-average growth (in standard deviation units); and positive values with above-average growth. Periods of economic expansion have historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 above –0.70 and the CFNAI Diffusion Index above –0.35. Conversely, periods of economic contraction have historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 below –0.70 and the CFNAI Diffusion Index below –0.35. An increasing likelihood of a period of sustained increasing inflation has historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 above +0.70 more than two years into an economic expansion. Similarly, a substantial likelihood of a period of sustained increasing inflation has historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 above +1.00 more than two years into an economic expansion.
Advocacy for Vaccinating Children Against Covid
In the face of proven science, the untrustworthy in our medical community are advocating for children to be vaccinated against covid. 335 children under 18 years of age have died with a covid diagnosis, according to the CDC. What they don’t know or don’t tell us is how many of these children had pre-existing conditions prior to death. Without complete data, their mandates and proposals are useless and likely dangerous. While the benefits of vaccine may outweigh its risks, the government should not try to push such conclusions based on faulty or incomplete data.
Inflation
In another display of economic ignorance, the idiot who is not my president, stated this week that “big spending tamps down inflation…” what kind of schmuck is this guy? Every dollar that is printed lowers the value of the dollars in circulation which means you cannot buy with todays dollar what you could with yesterday’s dollar. That is called inflation. These morons just lie openly about everything. Everything is a damned lie, everything. We cannot believe those who “lead” the country, we cannot believe much of what the media tells us. That is a problem; they tell us what they think and what we should think, they do NOT report facts. Think for yourself, don’t let these Marxists tell you what to think.
Nordstream Pipeline
The idiot gave final approval for Russia to complete the Nordstream pipeline from Russia to Germany, this is a stupid move considering the geopolitical implications, in addition to what it does to our energy industry. What a fool he is making of our country.

On Wednesday the idiot announced that children 12 years old and younger should wear masks, these morons cannot make up their minds. The science is in-masks are detrimental to the health of our youth, especially when worn all day in school and when participating in sports. Stand up people, refuse to buckle to this horse shit.
