The Federal Reserve Bank Will Be Raising Interest Rates
The Federal Reserve Bank will be raising interest rates probably every quarter this year as the signs of an improving economy are everywhere. No one likes to pay more for money but at this point in time, were a recession to occur, the Fed would have no tools (lowering interest rates) with which to help our economy.
US Raw Steel Output Rose Last Week
US raw steel output rose 1.6 percent last week as mills operated at an ACUR of 74.6 percent. In the corresponding week last year mills operated at an ACUR of 73.1 percent. Thus far this year mills have produced prox 12,000,000 tons compared to the prox 11,500,000 tons produced in the like period last year.
CFNAI Decreased in January
Led by declines in production-related indicators, the Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) decreased to -0.05 in January from +0.18 in December. The index’s three month moving average
(CFNAI-MA3) edged down and suggests that growth in national economic activity was near its historical trend and suggests limited inflationary pressure from economic activity over the coming year.
What do the numbers mean?
When the CFNAI-MA3 value moves below –0.70 following a period of economic expansion, there is an increasing likelihood that a recession has begun.
Conversely, when the CFNAI-MA3 value moves above –0.70 following a period of economic contraction, there is an increasing likelihood that a recession has ended.
When the CFNAI-MA3 value moves above +0.70 more than two years into an economic expansion, there is an increasing likelihood that a period of sustained increasing inflation has begun.
Dow’s Streak of Gains
On Wednesday the Dow closed up for its ninth straight gain and stands at 20,775. This is not from Obama or anything he left behind. Working Americans, laborers and entrepreneurs, know that the Trump agenda is and will be good for America. It is common sense, all of it.
Trappist-1 Discovery
This is very interesting…I don’t know what we do with the information because at a distance of 40 years, traveling at the speed of light (286,282 MPH) we are nowhere near visiting. …Maxine Waters on Wednesday called the president’s cabinet “a bunch of scumbags…” Have you ever heard a conservative politician use language like that in public? Nope. But I am not a politician and she is a useless piece of shit.
Bathroom Rules
The Trump Administration on Wednesday formally withdrew Obama administration rules granting transgender individuals access to the sex-segregated facilities of their choice, including bathrooms. This whole issue, in my view, is a waste of time and money and an open invitation to perversion, rape and other sex crimes in the locker rooms and bathrooms of our country. All to get votes from another “segment” of the population created by the liberals.
Let them have their way and we will become a sexless nation and soon they will create another segment of voters to whom they will pander; sexual perverts. Thank you for standing up to this nonsense Mr. President. These decisions will now be given back to the states where hopefully, the people will have the right to decide on a ballot.
Mexico’s Immigration Response
How is it that Mexico TELLS the United States it will not abide by OUR immigration laws because they don’t have to? I don’t want a trade war or any other kind of war…with anyone, but if the Mexican government will do nothing to stop the flow of illegals and drugs into our country then fuck them. The wall will have a door that swings both ways and Mexico WILL get back its criminals and hopefully the drugs will be kept where they are made.
The audacity of some people (governments). Go try to walk over Mexico’s border illegally, you would be in prison forever. The PROBLEM is that the United States has gone so long without strictly enforcing our immigration laws that other countries believe we do not care-and for years, decades, we have not.
But now WE DO CARE, the world is a different and more dangerous place we do not want terrorists coming in, we do not want people coming in illegally, consuming government aid. There are legal ways to obtain a temporary work visa and legal ways to obtain citizenship. These laws must be enforced and obeyed.

This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
