Stock Market Highs Indicate Rising American Prosperity
On Wednesday the Dow Industrials rose 298 points, the S&P and Nasdaq hit new highs as well. Bank stocks and industrial companies led the charge as the Trump Train continues to roll on to rising American prosperity. The stock market has been rising since the election.
Advance Report on Durable Goods Manufacturers’ Shipments, Inventories and Orders for October 2016 was released by the US Commerce Department:
- New orders for manufactured durable goods in October increased by 4.8 percentage points. This increase, up four consecutive months followed a 0.4 percentage point September increase.
- Shipments of manufactured durable goods in October, up following four of the past five months, increased 0.1 percent.
- Inventories of manufactured durable goods in October, up four consecutive months, was virtually unchanged.

Thursday, December 8, marks the 41st anniversary of the end of the war in Viet Nam.
Also on Thursday we lost John Glenn at the ripe old age of 95. Rest in peace.
He was a true patriot, a real explorer. What an impact he had on many young, actually, all, American men and women, when he orbited the earth in the Mercury space capsule. Patriotism went sky high, proud of our country, proud of the things we could accomplish.
Nice week…I don’t have any rants, likely because I am quite at peace watching the sun dapple on the movement of the mighty Pacific Ocean. The idiocy has certainly not stopped, I’m just letting it go out to sea and disappear.
