In Its Largest Month-to-Month Gain Since the Election, Small Business Optimism Jumped in July

Small business optimism jumped 1.6 points in July to 105.2, its largest month-to-month gain since the election results, despite continued lack of action on tax and regulatory reform (though, like I said last week, President Trump has eliminated some 460 burdensome regulations to date). Gentle on My Mind

Glen Campbell passed away on Tuesday. What a pleasure it has been to hear his songs. Gentle on My Mind and Wichita Lineman are two of my favorites of his. It occurs to me that we have also lost Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard among the many others. I am privileged to have grown up hearing these boys play. RIP

North Korean Nuclear Capability

On Tuesday the Defense Intelligence Agency announced that North Korea has succeeded in miniaturizing a nuclear warhead which will fit comfortably into the ICBM’s that runt Kim Jong Un has been firing into the Sea of Japan. President Trump responded saying:

North Korea best not make any more threats to the US” saying “he will be met with fire, fury and power like the world has never seen…”

I am not sure we wait for that, clearly the runt is insane, for in his small mind he must actually believe he can take on the greatest power on the planet. I suggest dropping a MOAB on the imperial palace and force the runt to the table and advise him the next blasts will turn North Korea to dust. This has been festering for nearly three decades and NOT ONE politician has had the cojones to put the runt in his place. It will happen with President Trump and, in my opinion; I thank God that he is in office.

This is just bullshit that the elites on the left AND right are denouncing President Trump’s warning to North Korea. How do you handle this runt? We have been kicking the can down to road for 2 decades as the elites placate this creep’s wishes. Are we to wait until a nuclear warhead is on its way to New York? Washington? Damned right, the President was correct in warning him of the consequences of his actions. Make America Great Again

I will track these campaign promises and will check them off as each is accomplished adding those I have missed as they become apparent. This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….

TEDDY ROOSEVELT ON IMMIGRANTS IN AMERICA…1907

In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…We have room for but one language here and that is the English language…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
