US Employers Added 312,000 Jobs in December

US employers added 312,000 jobs in December, the fastest pace since February and wages surged, suggesting the economy maintained strong momentum at the end of 2018 even as financial markets sank. WSJ

The Chicago Business Barometer eased to 65.4 in December from 66.4 in November.

Three of the five Barometer sub-components lost ground on the month but solid gains in Production and Order Backlogs helped the headline index maintain most of November’s 8 point rise.

Recording just the fourth year-over-year fall this year, the Barometer continues to signal a healthy business environment, notching the 34th consecutive reading above 50.

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) December 2018 Manufacturing Report on Business:

Economic activity in the manufacturing sector expanded in December and the overall economy grew for the 116th consecutive month, according to the nation’s supply executives.

The report was issued 1/3/19 by Timothy R. Fiore, CPSM, CPM, Chair of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Manufacturing Business Survey Committee:

The December PMI registered 54.1, a decrease of 5.2 percentage points from November. Comments from the panel reflect continued expanding business strength but at much lower levels.”

Contrast the two reports above with this report from Wells Fargo 1/3/18:

In the latest affirmation of slower growth ahead, the ISM Index, a key gauge of US factory activity, posted its largest one month drop in a decade…”

This is what I mean about creating a recession. Peoples’ perception of conditions, current and/or future, are often based on what they read and hear. These seeds of thought, once planted, often germinate.

In my experience, we often talk ourselves into and then out of, recession.

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Texas Manufacturing Survey for December 2018 Reports Continued Expansion

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas released its Texas Manufacturing Survey for December 2018 and reports Texas factory activity continued to expand rather modestly in December according to executives responding to the survey.

The production index, a key measure of state manufacturing conditions, inched down by 1 point.

Other indexes of manufacturing activity also suggested modest growth, although demand growth picked up a bit.

Perceptions of broader business conditions turned slightly negative in the month.

Mitt Romney…what a loser he turned out to be. Talk about swamp creatures, he is dug in like a tick on a dog. Talk about a rino piece of crap.

Congressional Power Shifts

Here we go again with our elected idiots in Washington. All Democrat leaders are on video touting the need for border security at some point in the recent past; Obama, Schumer, Pelosi…ALL of them.

President Trump ran on securing our borders, so naturally, the left is now adamantly opposed. They do not care what the people of this country want. All they care about is power, obtaining it and keeping it. Trump needs to hold fast on the government shutdown, capitulating to the idiotic nonsense demanded by the left is a losing proposition and not good for the country.

Mark my words; the swamp creatures (and they are on the left and the right) will create a recession prior to the 2020 general elections and the worse it is, the better they will like it, I see it plainly in the news, what they do and say, it is clearly evident.

Why? Because President Trump has created an upheaval in American politics, he has called out the wrongdoings in our government to the dismay of career politicians. They do not like their thievery to be threatened, their cushy careers making a fortune for themselves while spending your money, being threatened. I do not believe there is an honest one among them.

If you think about it, these creeps can be compared to the Jews and Romans who murdered Jesus Christ because he was upsetting the status quo. Sounds familiar does it not??? (I am in no way comparing Donald J. Trump to Jesus Christ)

Today, Thursday, the newly elected Congress men and women take office, Nancy Pelosi and Chucky baby take control of the House. What will the result be for you? Your children? Our country? I can say with confidence, not much positive will happen.

The Democrats will spend the next two years obstructing and resisting everything the president wants to accomplish. In their incessant quest for power and control of the White House in 2020. Investigation upon useless investigation, to no end. What about doing good for the country and her people? No, we the people can bend over, as we are about to get screwed…again.

Administration Accomplishments

It is surprising how much this administration has accomplished in two years, none of which most people are aware of because it is not reported. Take a look at the list below, it is now 2 years old. Do you recall an administration which has accomplished as much…in the face of a tsunami of resistance?

Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
