All Items Index Increased 3.2% Over Last Twelve Months Before Seasonal Adjustment
All items index increased 3.2% over the last twelve months before seasonal adjustment. The Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers, increased 0.4 percent in February on a seasonally adjusted basis, after rising 0.3 percent in January.
NFIB Optimism Index in February Fell to Lowest Level Since May 2023
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Optimism Index fell to the lowest level since May 2023 during February. Firms reported seeing improvement in terms of labor availability, while a lower share of firms raised selling prices during the month. Expectations for real sales and better credit conditions also notched improvements during the month. On balance, however, most other components slipped, notably hiring and capex plans. Wells Fargo
US Raw Steel Production Up from Previous Week
In the week ending March 9, 2024, US raw steel production was 1,734,000 net tons at an ACUR of 78.1 percent, up 1.0 percent from the previous week ending March 2, 2024.
US Drill Rigs Running Down from Previous Week
There were 622 drill rigs running in the US last week, down seven rigs from the previous week, which is down 124 rigs from one year ago. Meanwhile, Canadian drillers shuttered 6 rigs, to 225, down six rigs from the previous week, up two rigs from one year ago.

It brings tears to my eyes when I think of Laken Riley, the Georgia medical student who was brutally murdered, and likely raped, by an illegal. Even the idiot, when forced to say her name (which he was unable to do correctly, calling her Lincoln) during his State of the Union speech, said she was killed by an illegal. I am quite sure he caught shit for that blunder. BUT it was not a blunder, it was the truth, and anyone with a brain knows it. He should be charged with the murder of Laken Riley and all the others who have died during this failed administration. All the women and children being raped on their journey to America, all the citizens dying from fentanyl overdose as drugs pass our borders with impunity. American communities are being overrun by these illegals, schools, hospitals, everything is being ruined, and the Democrats love it. I read in the WSJ last week where Biden has flown some 320,000 illegals to a neighborhood near you, in the dead of the night. All of a sudden, they are camped on your street, or your front lawn. When are people going to wake up to this catastrophe? These are in addition to the millions who have illegally crossed our southern and northern borders.
Have you heard? The Democrats are now calling illegal immigrants “newcomers.” What is that? They are welcoming these people as citizens even though they have broken the law by entering our country? What are the Democrats doing to our sovereignty as a nation? They are hellbent on destroying it.
You might remember Robert Hur the Special Counsel appointed to investigate the Biden classified documents investigation, wherein it is known Biden had classified documents dating back to his time in the senate up to his time as vice president. Though Mr. Hur found guilt, he attributed his blunders as form an old man with a bad memory. Of course that is horse shit. He just didn’t want to charge the president. On Tuesday, in testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, he was very clear in stating that he had NOT exonerated the president for any of his offenses, though if you listened to the Democrat questions, all they did was reiterate that Biden had been exonerated. It really was a sickening display of ultra partisanship. The communists Democrats are a very real threat to our country. Those who have eyes and ears; listen, and see for yourself.
