Demand is Strong According to the Chicago Business Barometer

Demand is strong according to the Chicago Business Barometer, which jumped to 73.4 in July, a two-month high and the second highest pandemic era reading. Demand is strong but firms remain concerned about supply chain disruptions and rising prices.

Among the five main indicators, Production saw the largest increase, rising 8.8 points as demand remained high. New Orders increased 5.4 points signaling strong demand. Order backlogs increased, inventories increased.

Sustained Demand for Durable Goods

Durable goods orders rose 0.8% in June. The fourth consecutive monthly gain in core capital goods shipments highlights sustained demand for durable goods and steady overall business spending.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond released its Fifth District Survey of Manufacturing Activity for July 2021 and reports manufacturing activity strengthened in the month.

Texas Factory Activity Continued Robust Expansion in July 2021

The Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey results for July were released and Texas factory activity continued its robust expansion in the month. The production index, though largely unchanged but the reading is well above average and indicative of strong output growth. Other measures of manufacturing activity also pointed to continued growth.

Real GDP Increased at an Annual Rate of 6.5% in 2021Q2

Real GDP increased at an annual rate of 6.5% in the second quarter of 2021 according to the ”advance estimate” released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In the first quarter, real GDP increased 6.3 percent.

US Raw Steel Production Up From Previous Week

In the week ending 7/24/21 US raw steel production was 1,868,000 net tons at an ACUR of 84.6 percent, up 0.5 percent from the previous week.

US Drill Rigs Running Up 240 From One Year Ago

There were 491 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 7 rigs from the previous week, up 240 rigs from one year ago. Canadian drillers shuttered 1 rig last week-to 149 operating rigs, this is up 107 rigs from 1 year ago.

The Cleveland Guardians

Last Friday the ownership of the Cleveland Indians baseball team changed the name of the team to the Guardians. It is difficult for me to envision anything more ridiculous as this stupid stunt. Since 1915 the team has been known as The Indians, or the Tribe. It was an honor to American Indians and was intended to be so. Several years ago, some idiot leftist, in an attempt to enrich himself personally, started the nonsense of the team name being racist, insulting, degrading etc., of course team ownership, instead of standing up for what is right, bowed down and licked the feet of the liberal contingent. First, they eliminated our logo of Chief Wahoo, THAT is an insult not only to American Indians, it is an insult to the fans. This crap gets more disgusting with each passing day.

US Covid Vaccinations

So, at least half the US population have been vaccinated for covid protection, and according to covid trackers, probably close to 35 million of the population have had the virus and carry antibodies to prevent re-infection. What happened to herd immunity?

New Mask Guidelines

On Tuesday the CDC came out with new guidelines which mandate mask wearing indoors in high transmission areas, whether or not you have been vaccinated. They do not address those with natural antibodies. They want children to wear masks in school. Why? It has been proven that children are not the ones transmitting this virus and they rarely become seriously ill with it. The caveat to all of this is the individual’s personal health; the elderly, those who are obese or with other underlying health issues who are most vulnerable to this virus, and other diseases.

What is the purpose of all this horse shit? To control the people of the USA and the people of other countries around the world. Period. We cannot sit back and allow them to do this. There are protests around the world against this nonsense. The pandemic has been a useful distraction for Democrats, who do not want it to end. It keeps the folks from thinking about China, Russia, the southern border, the trillions of taxpayer dollars they are spending on their socialist dreams, the utter failure of the Biden administration, surging crime rates, the crap of being woke, etc. We all need to stand up to preserve and defend our rights and freedoms. The government in our country has become so corrupt, the swamp so deep, that we are in imminent danger of losing everything we hold dear as Americans.

The Delta Variant

On Friday the CDC, in their continuing dance around scientific fact, are saying that vaccinated people may spread the delta variant. Why would anyone take a vaccine that leaves one vulnerable to infection? We know the vaccine is not 100% effective, we know people are getting re-infected after taking it, we know people are dying after vaccination, we know people suffer terrible side effects post vaccination.

You must be aware by now that the reason new mask mandates are being forced on us is based on a non-peer reviewed study from India directly related to a non-covid virus. I mean, what the hell are these people doing?…and WHY?

$100 Vaccine Incentive

The idiot in the White House is now calling for state and local governments to bribe citizens with a $100 payment if they are newly vaccinated. Why? What nefarious things are these Marxists planning? This just isn’t right, it doesn’t look right, it doesn’t sound right. We do not have this frenzy for other things that are killing even more Americans on a regular basis
