One Nation Under God
One Nation Under God. 248 YEARS AGO, our forefathers began the Revolutionary War to gain freedom from the tyrannical British government’s rule. No heat, no air conditioning, no automobiles, no real comforts which we take for granted today. The promise of liberty and freedom were their comforts. Outnumbered and out-armed they fought on and on until victory was theirs. Thus began the great experiment in freedom. Americans had the right to choose their own course, guaranteed by God as unalienable rights of free men.
Today these rights are under assault from the progressive left. They call themselves Democrats, but they are not. They seek to take your freedoms and rights and to diminish our great nation. In a few months we will have a general election which will determine the direction of our country. I pray that all Americans open their eyes to the gravity of the situation. It is no longer viable to kick the can down the road for the next leaders to fix, it must be done now or the sacrifices of many will have been for nought. We are far from a perfect nation, but we are still the best nation. We must ensure we continue as such.
Over this weekend, I urge you to take some time and consider our rich history, give thanks to those who have served valiantly in the defense of Liberty.
God bless you and your family, the American family, we are “One nation under God…”
Have a great Independence Day celebration weekend…

TEDDY ROOSEVELT ON IMMIGRANTS IN AMERICA…1907
In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…We have room for but one language here and that is the English language…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
