Business Activity Increased Modestly in New York State in July 2022
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York released its Empire State Manufacturing Survey results and reports business activity increased modestly in New York State in July. The headline general business conditions index climbed twelve points. New orders increased marginally, and shipments expanded significantly.
US Raw Steel Production Down from Previous Week
In the week ending July 9, 2022 US raw steel production was 1,748,000 net tons at an ACUR of 79.3 percent, down 1.1 percent from the previous week.
US Drill Rigs Running Up from Previous Week
There were 752 drill rigs running in the US last week, up two from the previous week, up 273 rigs from one year ago. Canadian drillers added 9 rigs, to 175, up 38 rigs from one year ago.

Public Health Emergency Extended
The Biden administration plans to extend the public health emergency declaration for COVID for the 11th time. They’re not doing it because of infection or mortality rates-both of which have been flat for months. They are doing it to keep MILLIONS of Americans on welfare. During COVID, Medicaid has grown to include 30% of our country and the number of people using food stamps has shot up by 4.4 million people also.
As we all suffer with the needlessly high fuel and gas prices, keep in mind that the idiot in the Oval Office is begging Saudi Arabia for oil. Also remember that our country was a net exporter of these commodities less than 2 years ago, also we were energy independent. This green new deal shit has got to stop. The “democrats” are ruining our country, the reasons are many, it is not just oil and gas.
