US LEI fell again in May
The US LEI fell again in May, fueled by tumbling stock prices, a slowdown in housing construction, and gloomier consumer expectations,” said Ataman Ozyildirim, Senior Director of economic Research at the Conference Board. “The index is still near a historic high, but the US LEI suggests weaker economic activity is likely in the near term-and tighter monetary policy is poised to dampen economic growth even further.”
The Conference Board Leading Economic Index (LEI) for the US decreased by 0.4 percent in May, following a 0.4 percent decline in April. The LEI is now down 0.4 percent over the six-month period from November 2021 to May 2022.
US Raw Steel Production Down from Previous Week
In the week ending June 18, US raw steel production was 1,758,000 net tons at an ACUR of 80.5 percent. Production for the week was down 1.5 percent from the previous week.
US Drill Rigs Running Up 7 from Previous Week
There were 740 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 7 rigs from the previous week and up 270 from one year ago. Canadian drillers added 15 rigs to 156, up 39 rigs from one year ago.
Existing Home Sales Fell in May
Sales of existing homes fell 3.4 percent in May to a 5.41 million-unit annual rate. Sales of single-family homes fell 3.6 percent to 4.8 million-unit pace while sales of condominiums and co-ops fell 1.6 percent to a 610,000-unit pace. The median price of existing homes, condos and co-ops has risen 14.8 percent over the past year to $407,600, marking the first time the median home price has been above $400,000.

Biden’s daughter left her diary in some hotel where it was found and read. The president has weaponized the FBI to find it and they have done some fairly unjustified things in this pursuit. Apparently. The old fart used to shower with her and led her, in her opinion, to become a sex addict. God only knows what he did to that little girl and for how long.
Biden’s Gas Fixes
He must have hit his head when he fell off his bicycle last weekend as he is considering another give-away, in two ways:
- By sending out gasoline cards to the tune of I don’t know how many millions of taxpayer dollars. This will add to the national debt and is ripe for fraud, like any other government entitlement.
- By temporarily canceling the federal gas tax ($0.18/per gallon) which will save you $3.60 to fill a 20-gallon tank. It will also take money from road repairs etc.-and we all know the need for road and bridge repairs.
Vaccines for Kids Under 5
More insanity: Infants, toddlers and preschoolers along with those as young as six months, can now get vaccinated for Covid-19. There are some 20 million Americans in these age groups and NONE of them should get the vaccine unless they have underlying health issues, otherwise, God has given them the immunity needed to ward off disease.

These are the reasons for the shit storm we are in, as touted by the Biden administration and most other “Democrats.” They refuse to accept responsibility for any of this, or any other problems they force on the citizens of America.

Gun Safety Legislation
Fourteen republicans in name only, sided with Senate Democrats Tuesday to advance a gun control bill opposed by the NRA and likely most Americans. While it does fund efforts to identify mentally unstable people, the “red flag” law grants the government the right to come to your home and confiscate your weapon or weapons as they see fit. Anyone can accuse a person of being a danger or unstable and that is all they need. This is unconstitutional according to the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.
This legislation can be abused to restrict lawful gun purchases, infringe upon the rights of law-abiding Americans, and use federal dollars (YOUR money) to fund gun control measures being adopted by state and local politicians. The bill leaves too much discretion in the hands of government officials and contains undefined and overbroad provisions-inviting interference with our constitutional freedoms.” The NRA said.
Another Pandemic?
The idiot in the oval office uttered the following on Tuesday: “We do need more money” Biden told reporters.” we don’t just need money for vaccines for children. We need more money to plan for the second pandemic. There’s gonna be another pandemic.”
Exactly, when? This century? Next century? What about the covid billions that have not been spent? Do you expect the government to do any better planning for the “next pandemic?” These people, the politicians and health officials, do not know shit from shinola. How did they do with covid? Wasted and stolen money, poor information, closing businesses, paying people to not work, lockdowns, closing our schools, masking, social distancing. All for nothing, all that crap did much more harm than good, if any good was done at all.
