Uncertainty index at second highest level on record

Uncertainty index at second highest level on record, after falling for the second consecutive month in February 2025. The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index appears to be moderating amid higher economic uncertainty. Although economic perceptions remain much more constructive than in recent years, the recent flurry of tariff activity appears to have dented economic expectations and put upward pressure on small business prices. News Headlines

All the economic genius’ out there are crying “recession” again, this time they blame Trump. Hogwash! First of all, the US economy has been on the decline for several years, most notably, manufacturing. Trump did not cause the inflation, the man has been in office for seven or eight weeks, he did not cause the spike in energy prices, or rampant crime, he did not allow the war in Ukraine or any of the other geopolitical crises we have been suffering through.

It’s funny, WE are not at war yet everyone relies on the USA to stop the wars, the chaos, the deaths etc. At least Trump is making our allies bump up their defense spending etc etc. We have to let these new policies have an effect. In my opinion, we will be fine. I have said before; if tariffs will bring production and jobs back to the United States, I will gladly pay more for these products. It will help our fellow Americans with good jobs, more income and a brighter future. Tariff away!

Trump’s Budget Reconciliation package passed the House this week, Friday it hits the Senate and although the Democrats want to stop it they cannot for they would hold the blame for shutting down the government. As we all know, shutting down the government is a ploy. No one suffers-ever, the money keeps flowing, services continue. The government should be shut down, it would give DOGE a chance to uncover more waste, fraud and corruption, and they know that also.

Elon Musk is doing a great job for the people of this country. Why do you think these idiots are peeing their pants and running for cover? The jig is up, and all these rats need to be held accountable for their theft of taxpayer dollars.

And these leftists, I mean torching Tesla charging stations, burning cars and trucks, vandalizing dealerships, threatening Mr. Musk’s life. Who promotes this anarchy? Soros? The Democratic party?

TEDDY ROOSEVELT ON IMMIGRANTS IN AMERICA…1907

In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…We have room for but one language here and that is the English language…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
