US raw steel production was 1,856,000 net tons at an ACUR of 80.4 percent in the week ending July 4, 2026, up 0.8 percent from the previous week ending June 27, 2026.
Adjusted YTD production thru July 4, 2026, was 48,112,000 net tons at an ACUR of 78.8 percent.
US drill rigs running up from previous week
In the week ending July 10, 2026, there were 581 drill rigs running in the US, up one rig from the previous week ending July 2, up forty-four rigs from one-year ago. Canadian drillers shuttered eleven rigs, to 179, up seventeen rigs from one year ago.

I trust every American citizen enjoyed their Independence Day weekend. I know the commie democrats did NOT celebrate, they hate our country and everything she stands for. On Wednesday, from the NATO meeting in Turkey, Trump announced the MOU with Iran to be dead after they targeted ships in the Strait. We responded forcefully and more destruction is sure to come. We must bring the regime to its knees. Unfortunately, innocent people will be killed or injured, but this must be done.
We have been bombing Iran all week long, hitting a couple hundred infrastructure targets causing the mullahs to cry for negotiation. Trump is not sure he wants to deal with them, and since they are liars, if I were him, I would not. They have issued assassination plans for our president, according to new information from Israeli intelligence. It is enough with this pack of vermin, they need to be destroyed completely, as I said earlier, unfortunately, some innocent people are going to perish because of the nastiness of the regime in power. These are just evil people, animals.
