All items index increased 3 percent before seasonal adjustment, over the last twelve months. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for All Urban Consumers increased 0.5 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in January, after rising 0.4 percent in December.
US raw steel production up from previous week
In the week ending February 8, 2025, US raw steel production was 1,675,000 net tons at an ACUR of 75.2 percent, up 1.1 percent from the previous week ending February 1, 2025.
Adjusted year-to-date production through February 8, 2025 was 9,209,000 net tons at an ACUR of 74.4 percent.

The Marxists have learned nothing from the beating they took on November 5, 2024. Instead of supporting the president and his efforts to cut government waste, fraud and corruption, which seems commendable to me, no, they want to impeach him-again. The real problem is that the DOGE will uncover the significant corruption which exists in our government, that means of the politicians and bureaucrats.

People no longer get into politics to effect positive change for the country and her citizens. Today, they get in to see how much they can steal. The government has grown way too large, there is so much money and so much unaccounted for, it’s ridiculous. I fully support all efforts made to reveal the corruption and further, to hold anyone guilty accountable to their actions.
This is YOUR money, and mine, and they have also laid claim to our children’s money and our grandchildren’s, and generations beyond. It has to stop. The DOGE is a step in the right direction and should be applauded and encouraged by both parties to do what it is charged to do, to the best of their abilities.

I think ALL of Trump’s appointees have now been confirmed, except Kash Patel, who should be confirmed to head the FBI. Time to get to work folks.
It is so very annoying to hear these so called Democrats rail against the Trump Administration for weeding out corruption, theft and abuse in the federal government. It is an obvious admission of guilt on their part. Anyone who is against doing this is an outright crook. I hope they are all found out, and are all charged and held fully accountable for stealing from the American people.
