Chicago Fed National Activity Index Rose in March
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index rose to +1.71 in March from -1.20 in February. Led by improvements in, personal consumption and housing related indicators, the index’s three-month moving average (CFNAI-MA3) moved up to +0.40 in March.
US Raw Steel Production Up 0.5% from Previous Week
In the week ending April 17, 2021, US raw steel production was 1,770,000 net tons, up 0.5 percent from the previous week, and at an ACUR of 78.0 percent.
US Drill Rigs Running Up 7 from Previous Week
There were 439 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 7 from the previous week, down 90 rigs from one year ago. Canadian drilling dropped by 2 rigs, to 56, up 26 rigs from 1 year ago.
Derek Chauvin Verdict
On Tuesday, Derek Chauvin took the fall for the death of George Floyd in order to keep the peace in our country. George Floyd was a criminal and a hard drug abuser. His family received $27 million from the city of Minneapolis for his death. Talk about white guilt and white fright, my goodness, when are people going to stand up for what is right. It is not a difficult question.
Ma’Khia Bryant Death
On Wednesday a 16-year old girl was shot by a you-guessed it white policeman, as she was attacking another 13-year old girl with a butcher knife, with intent to kill. Naturally, all the crazies have come out of the woodwork with their racist remarks. Police body cam shows the officer saved the life of the other girl. That a 13-year old girl has the venom in her to want to commit murder is unthinkable…but it is the result of the racist and entitlement narratives which are polluting our country.
Biden Administration Considering Sanctions Relief
In their ignorance the Biden administration has signaled to Tehran that they are willing to offer sanctions relief to Iran’s central bank, its national oil and tanker companies and several key economic sectors including steel, aluminum and others. Where is the benefit for the USA in this? Trump had them on their knees, their economy crippled. So much so that we have not heard a peep from Iran in years, totally illogical to abnormal human being.
On Thursday, Russia ordered its troops to withdraw from the Ukraine border.
H.R.51 – Washington, D.C. Admission Act
The communists in the House of Representatives on Thursday, approved legislation that would make Washington, DC the 51st state. Fortunately, the bill faces an uphill battle in the Senate.
No Innnocents are Shot by Police
Does anyone mention, or notice, that no innocents are shot by police? Everyone is either under the influence of some drug or combination of drugs, many have existing warrants, weapons, don’t listen to the law officers’ directions, resist arrest, flee, shoot at the officer etc. etc. Good, innocent people do NOT get shot; it doesn’t matter what their skin color is. I am so very tired of racist, systemic racism and all the other horse shit terms and narratives meant to divide our country…because they are not true. We are a good and generous people. To whom do other governments turn when they need help? The United States of America. We do not help based on color or ethnicity; we help PEOPLE in need. No other country on planet earth does what this country does and has done for others.
