CPI for all urban consumers increased

 CPI for all urban consumers increased. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.9 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in March, after rising 0.3 percent in February, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. Over the last twelve months, the all items index increased 3.3 percent before seasonal adjustment.

US raw steel production up from previous week

In the week ending April 4, 2026, US raw steel production was 1,831,000 net tons at an ACUR of 79.1 percent, up 1.6 percent from the previous week ending March 28, 2026.
Adjusted YTD production through April 4, 2026 was, 24,028,000 net tons at an ACUR of 77.4 percent.       

US drill rigs running up from previous week

In the week ending April 2, 2026, there were 548 drill rigs running in the US, up five rigs from the previous week, down forty-two rigs from one year ago. Canadian drillers idled eleven rigs, to 142 down eleven rigs from one year ago.

Trump strikes a two-week ceasefire with Iran, the Strait of Hormuz to be opened, all nuclear material to be surrendered. Oil prices have sunk, stock futures have surged over 1200 points before the opening bell on Wednesday. Of course, the Democrats call it all a failure, which is typical of those losers.

This cease-fire is on shaky ground as Hezbollah continues to fire rockets into Israel. Iran claims Lebanon is not part of the deal. The first thing that needs to be understood by everyone is that leadership (?) in Iran does not tell the truth-ever. I do not believe they will comply with the cease-fire. They are already saying they will continue to enrich uranium and they will maintain control of Hormuz. These are non-starters. Trump should destroy everything in Iran which is not related to civilian activity.

As far as I know Homeland Security, the Coast Guard, TSA, and other national security departments are still shutdown because the Democrats want to withhold funding for ICE, which has been funded through 2029. Additionally, with four years of open borders, we do not know who is in our country or what they may be planning. The Democrats do not care. Not one word from their mouths is positive regarding this country, this president, his policies. TDS completely controls the Democrat party. Not that they offer anything worthwhile now, but what will they offer in 2028? They have nothing. They offer no solutions to any of our problems, none. At least Trump takes action, and his ideas have largely been correct.
