CFNAI Increased in September
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) increased to +0.02 in September from -0.22 in August. All four broad categories of indicators used to construct the index increased from August, and two categories made positive contributions in September. The index’s three-month moving average (CFNAI-MA3) moved up to a neutral value in September from -0.14 in August.
What do the numbers mean? A zero value for the monthly index has been associated with the national economy expanding at its historical trend (average) rate of growth; negative values with below-average growth (in standard deviation units); and positive values with above-average growth. Periods of economic expansion have historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 above –0.70 and the CFNAI Diffusion Index above –0.35. Conversely, periods of economic contraction have historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 below –0.70 and the CFNAI Diffusion Index below –0.35. An increasing likelihood of a period of sustained increasing inflation has historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 above +0.70 more than two years into an economic expansion. Similarly, a substantial likelihood of a period of sustained increasing inflation has historically been associated with values of the CFNAI-MA3 above +1.00 more than two years into an economic expansion.

That the government of the United States has the audacity to ask them to “pause” is an affront to freedom and democracy. That we have students protesting against Israel, legislators in Congress opposing Israel is despicable. All of this poison comes from the left wing in our country, they are destroying our country, you can see her unravel more every day with the constant propagandist bullshit. The fact that university professors, legislators and ignorant students are condoning the beheading of babies, the murder and rape of women and children is a horrific stain on the USA.
This is not who we are as a people and things must change, as I have said before. These bastards on the left, the progressives, the leftists, the Marxist Democrats are ALL evil people. You all must take a moment, look, and see what they are doing to our great country. It is an unforgivable sin.
