I must disagree with this. You cannot print all the money we have, severely curtail oil and gas supply and force the citizenry to comply with the green new deal horse shit, along with all the other nonsense this administration has done to damage our economy without consequences. The train is still headed for us, in my view.
US Raw Steel Production Down from Previous Week
In the week ending 8/5/2023, US raw steel production was 1,727,000 net tons at an ACUR of 75.9 percent. This is down 1.3 percent from the previous week ending 7/29/23.
US Drill Rigs Running Down from Previous Week
There were 659 drill rigs running in the US last week, down five rigs from the previous week, down 105 rigs from one year ago. Canadian drillers also shut down five rigs, to 188, down fifteen from one year ago.
All Items Index Increased Before Seasonal Adjustment
The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers rose 0.2 percent in July on a seasonally adjusted basis, the same increase as in June. Over the last twelve months, the all items index increased 3.2 percent before seasonal adjustment.

The prosecutor, David Weiss, who slow-walked the Hunter Biden investigations (some for so long, the statute of limitations ran out and charges cannot be brought. Do you think that was not planned?) has been appointed Special Counsel to the Hunter Biden investigations. A special counsel is to be appointed from outside the government, I am hoping the appointment by the crook, Merrick Garland, will be thrown out. They must really think we are stupid, unfortunately, many people are.
