Number of US Drill Rigs Running Up From Previous Week

There were 629 drill rigs running in the US last week, up three rigs from the previous week, down 120 rigs from one year ago. Canadian drillers stood pat at 231 rigs, no change from the previous week, but down fifteen rigs from one year ago.

US Raw Steel Production Down from Previous Week

In the week ending March 2, 2024, US raw steel production was 1,716,000 net tons at an ACUR of 77.3 percent, down 0.6 percent from the previous week ending February 24, 2024.

The Supreme Court ruled on Monday, that Trump could stay on the ballot in Colorado, and ended similar challenges to his candidacy elsewhere, which we all knew would be the outcome. It was another bogus move by leftists who are doing whatever they can to bankrupt this man. He will not yield, and he will prevail. We are still a country of laws after all.

For the last time, it is NOT Joe Biden’s age that is the problem, it is the diminution of his mental capacity. He and Donald Trump are relatively the same age and if you cannot see the difference in vitality and mental command between these two men, you have your head up your ass.

Trump won the majority of delegates on Super-Tuesday, as expected, and Nikki Hayley suspended her campaign on Wednesday morning.

The Fani Willis story gets deeper by the day. She is a liar, her boyfriend is a liar and they should both be charged with conspiracy to commit fraud against the people of the United States and both of their licenses to practice law should be revoked. It is ridiculous how this bitch, who rants about no one being above the law, does whatever she wishes, whenever she wishes. I sincerely hope her days are numbered as a prosecutor and that her frivolous charges against Donald Trump are thrown out of court.

I watched the State of the Union address Thursday night, and I was not impressed. I am happy the president didn’t mumble his way through the speech, he was largely coherent. But facts are facts and no amount of glossing can hide the truth:

  • Everything is costing Americans much more today and these little tidbits he wants to hand out to the masses will do little to alleviate the distress in their bank accounts.
  • Electric cars are a boondoggle and forcing them onto the American consumer is not working in the Democrats’ favor. Same with wind and solar energy.
  • The economy is creating jobs, I question how good they are, but there also exists a feeling of unease in business because our government is against capitalism. We are waiting for the other foot to fall. Capitalism is what built this world into what it is today. Not communism, not fascism. “There have been material downward revisions to job growth in the prior two months, and the unemployment rate rose to its highest level in just over two years.” Wells Fargo.
  • It is not the rosy picture the president painted last night.
  • Crime is not down, as he postulated, to the contrary, crime is rampant and getting worse.
  • Homelessness is a problem in all Democratic controlled cities. While the government is giving our tax money to illegals, we have military veterans and others, living in boxes and under bridges. Does that make sense to any American citizen?

Again he attacks our corporations, accusing them of not paying their fair share of taxes. Believe me, they pay plenty, as do all of us who work for a living. Once again, Congress makes the laws by which we live, they created the tax codes and the loopholes, if these are such that a corporation pays little in tax, who is to blame? Not the business, but the crooks who write the laws. Tired of hearing that story.

Ukraine: I do not like that we are funding their war for independence, but I still believe we must support them, as corrupt as their government is.

Israel: The Israeli Defense Forces should eliminate Hamas from the planet, in total. The Jewish people have every right to live in peace, just as you and I do. These extremists will not stop if they are permitted to escape justice for the murder, rape, and burning of babies, children, women and men.
