US Drill Rigs Running Stands at 990
US drill rig count stands at 990, down 42 rigs from 1 year ago. Meanwhile Canadian drill rigs numbered 61, down 25 rigs from 1 year ago.
US Raw Steel Production Up 6.8% Over Same Period Last Year
In the week ended 4/27 US raw steel production was 1,895,000 tons, the ACUR stood at 81.4%. Thus far this year mills have produced prox 31,849,000 tons, up 6.8% from the 29,814,000 tons produced in the like period last year.
Manufacturing Expanded in April. Overall Economy Grew for 120th Consecutive Month.
On May 1 the Institute for Supply Management released its ISM Report on Business for the month of April and reports the manufacturing sector expanded in April and the overall economy grew for the 120th consecutive month, say the nation’s supply executives in this latest report.
The report was issued by Timothy R. Fiore, CPSM, CPM, Chair of the Institute for Supply Management Manufacturing Business Survey Committee:
The April PMI registered 52.8 percent, a decrease of 2.5 percentage points from the March reading of 55.3 percent. The New Orders Index decreased 5.7 points, the Production Index decreased 3.5 percentage points, the Employment
Index dropped 5.1 percentage points and Supplier Deliveries registered a 0.4 percentage point increase. The Inventories Index increased 1.1 percentage points.
Comments from the panel reflect continued expanding business strength, but at the softest levels since Q4 of 2016. Demand expansion continued, Consumption continued to expand and supplier deliveries, inventories and imports, were higher this month.
Rise in Energy Costs Lift Producer Prices
A rise in energy costs helped lift producer prices 0.2% in April, but core services prices also picked up. While the trend in inflation shows signs of turning around, price pressures remain fairly tame. Wells Fargo
The Mueller Report
These liberal, socialist, communist Democrats really take the cake. The Mueller report with about 95-98% un-redacted, has been available for review for a week or two. Last I heard, not ONE Democrat has bothered to take a look. It just shows you what a load of crap this is. What is it they do not understand about the LAW prohibiting certain information from being released? How can you (attempt to) charge a man with contempt if he is upholding the law? This is all a diversion, an attempt to stop AG Barr from pursuing the investigations underway and those soon to be started.
God bless this man for having the balls to take this on. The lefties are truly crapping their pants. Really, what kind of country have we become if the highest echelons of our government have been corrupted in the pursuit of power? This is precisely why our Constitution protects the right to keep and bear arms. It is not to fight the Russians, the Chinese or the Muslims… it is for us to have the ability to form a regulated militia to prevent a tyrannical government from taking control of the country. Unarmed, we are helpless…but, armed and free men and women are a huge force to be reckoned with. We have in our Congress many very bad people, all with ill intentions. Never thought I would see this mess in my country. Never.
The Border Crisis
Recall how the liberal pieces of shit accused our president of “creating” the humanitarian crisis on the border? Deriding him, calling him a liar, denying the problem etc. etc. The following are excerpts from a front page article in Thursday’s Wall Street Journal:
After tens of thousands of families streamed across America’s southern border late last year, a Catholic Charity in Tucson, Az opened a monastery to house asylum seeking illegal (my word) immigrants whom federal agents released. The 66,000 sq. ft space is now full…an additional 113,797 people in families had crossed this year by the end of March and border agents in El Paso, Tx housed some under a bridge. Last month, Yuma, AZ declared an emergency after a converted strip-mall thrift store serving as a shelter, hit capacity. Last week, a giant white tent opened on the outskirts of Donna, near the Rio Grande-the government’s latest desperate attempt to house the families. In April, a single month record of 58,000 parents and children crossed together illegally…a deepening humanitarian crisis (remember they called that a blatant lie?) on the border is straining towns, aid groups, and federal agencies as thousands of families, when released, immediately need shelter.
Guess who is paying for all this nonsense…YOU, the American taxpayer. The Democrats want power in this country so badly, they will present any lie as truth in order to attain their nefarious goal. Their constant obstruction and resistance against our president are a disgusting display, worthy only of a third world dictatorship. We must vote them ALL out of office, every last one of them.

I will track these campaign promises and will check them off as each is accomplished adding those I have missed as they become apparent. This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term, but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
