The trend in productivity growth has improved over the past year, even if Q1’s 3.6% surge overstates the extent. Stronger productivity has contributed to the Fed’s inflation shortfall even as labor costs have been picking up. Wells Fargo

AG Barr Under Siege

Can you believe these damned Liberals? Now they are calling AG Barr a liar! This is ridiculous. Mr. Barr has enjoyed a spotless career, was AG under GHW Bush in the early 90’s. Now that the Mueller Report failed to indict the president of any crime (this made them crap their collective pants anyway), which was to be the guaranteed road to impeachment, they have turned now to destroy this good man.

Unfortunately, he knows their game and will not fall for this bullshit. Now their worry is that in his further investigation into how all this waste of time and money came about, that their game may be up. This will go all the way to Obama and all his cohorts, including that bitch Hillary Clinton. Knowing the Clinton history, Attorney General Barr should have 24-hour guards assigned to his protection.

Regarding the release of the Mueller Report and Mr. Barr’s four-page letter summary:

It could not possibly have covered all the nuances of a 448-page report. It was an attempt to provide Mr. Mueller’s conclusions to Congress and the public as quickly as possible while he took the time to work through the entire document to make redactions required by law and Justice Department rules.

This is exactly what he promised to do in his confirmation hearing. Even Mr. Mueller’s complaining letter admits that Mr. Barr’s letter was not inaccurate, a fact Mr. Barr says Mr. Mueller also conceded in a subsequent phone call.

Mr. Barr has also made nearly all the redactions in the report available to senior Members of Congress to inspect at Justice. Yet, as of this writing, only three Members have bothered, all Republicans. Not ONE Democrat howling about Mr. Barr’s lack of transparency has examined the outrages they claim are hidden.” WSJ

MORE BULLSHIT FROM THE LEFT. RESIST, OBSTRUCT, that is the mantra by which they live…and will surely die in their socialist hell.

Look what they have done to Stephen Moore, appointed by President Trump to a position in the Federal Reserve. The guy is an economic genius, not without fault, but no one is. “Gutter campaign tactics and personal assaults…” as Mr. Moore himself said, are what did him in. the country will suffer as a result, but the swamp creatures do not give a shit.

I will track these campaign promises and will check them off as each is accomplished adding those I have missed as they become apparent. This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term, but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….

TEDDY ROOSEVELT ON IMMIGRANTS IN AMERICA…1907

In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…We have room for but one language here and that is the English language…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
