US Raw Steel Production Up from One Year Ago

US raw steel production up from last year, in the week ending March 20, 2021. US raw steel production was 1,753,000 net tons at an ACUR of 77.3 percent, u p0.7 percent from a year ago.

Fifth District Manufacturing Activity Expanded in March

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond released its Fifth District Survey of Manufacturing Activity and reports Fifth district manufacturing activity expanded in March, according to the most recent survey.

CFNAI Fell in February from January

Led by declines in indicators related to production, personal consumption and housing, the Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) fell to -1.09 in February from +0.75 in January. The index’s three-month moving average (CFNAI-MA3) decreased to -0.02 in February from +0.46 in January.

US Drill Rigs Running Up 9 from Prior Week

There were 411 drill rigs running in the US last week, up 9 from the prior week, down 361 rigs from 1 year ago. Canadian drilling dropped by another 24 rigs, to 92, down 6 rigs from 1 year ago.

Boulder Shooting

Ten people murdered in Boulder, Colorado as a half-naked man storms into a store with an AR-15. The perpetrator happens to be Muslim and came into the US through Syrian refugee camps. Motive unknown as of Wednesday morning.

Naturally, the left has a hair up their collective ass about gun control. Once again, it is not the gun, it is the shooter with mental issues that is the problem, the problem which is refused recognition. The left is hell-bent on destroying the 2nd Amendment, Why? Their goal is to disarm the American people. We all know what would happen after that. Quite frankly, I do not think it will happen. History is full of stories related to the horrors leveled on unarmed, law-abiding citizens. They are not pretty stories.

Biden Press Conference

I watched the president’s first press conference on Thursday. My takeaway:

  • The questions were known previously, the entire thing was orchestrated
  • The reporter to ask the questions was known previously, obvious as he went down his list of reporters.
  • He had a notebook with answers and talking points which he referred to often.
  • …and of course- everything is Trumps fault.

Joe Biden is a seasoned politician and knows how to play the game. Whether or not he is fit for office is questionable at the very least.
